About
Cleer's goals serve as the central element of our brand identity: getting to the learning goal in a simple, playful and motivating way. These qualities are embodied by the circle, which is why it appears as the main player in the corporate design. Both our logo and iconography build on the implementation of circular elements.

The choice of colors is derived from the core idea of the learning system: you start your learning journey at the roots, through the trunk to the leaves.

The choice of typography can also be derived from the use of the journal. As a work- and notebook, it was important to use a typeface that is above all easy to read but also flexible to use.

About

The Learning Journal is the key element of this project. An absolute challenge for me, as I had almost no previous experience with editorial design of this scope.

After about two years of intensive teamwork with Nina and Aaron, a 200-page work was finally born. A carefully developed design system and the illustrations, which were created in several night shifts, give the book the special touch that makes it stand out from other journals on similar topics.

About
In order to make marketing and sales more effective, the product finally had to be placed on a digital level as well.

The resulting website builds visually on the design principle of the Learning Journal, which is why more circular elements are used for icons or backgrounds and, of course, the familiar color code.

The Learning Journal by Leuchtturm1917® and Cleer® is a 12-week work- and notebook that summarizes the most successful methods and techniques of active learning. It helps you to structure new information and apply new knowledge directly, thus anchoring it more effectively in your memory.

From the beginning I was asked to graphically define and accompany this project. The focus was on a printmedium that should be simple, playful and at the same time very motivating to use. Therefore, simple geometric shapes build the visual core elements of the brand identity, supported by unique illustrations and eye-catchers.

But the biggest gain I got from this project, two guys I get to follow on their journey of ideas and who now want me to be there as a steady companion. Thank you again at this point for allowing me to call myself Co-Founder.
